Are You Ready to Move? | The Shoes of the Gospel of Peace

Season 4 of My Question for You: Wisdom for Your Walk continues with SUITED UP, our series taking a fresh look at the armor of God—not just what each piece represents, but what it actually looks like to wear it.

This week, we’re looking at one of the more interesting pictures in Ephesians 6:

“...with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.”

Think about that.

Paul is describing a soldier dressed for battle... and he puts peace on his feet.

Even more interesting? He connects that peace with readiness.

So what is the gospel of peace preparing us to do?

In this episode, we’re exploring why biblical peace is more than feeling calm, how the gospel gives us secure footing even when our circumstances are unsettled, and why being ready doesn’t always mean moving.

Sometimes God calls us forward.

Sometimes He tells us to stand.

Either way, our security doesn’t come from knowing exactly what happens next. It comes from knowing where we stand with God.

And there’s another side to these shoes: the gospel that gives us peace is also the good news we’re meant to carry wherever our feet take us.

So this week’s question is:

Are you ready to move?
